Today I thought I would post a review of one of my favorite restaurants at Disney. Garden Grill is located on the top floor of The Land Pavilion in Epcot’s Future World. The restaurant rotates very slowly above the Living with the Land attraction.
The restaurant has two levels, with the lower level being large booths and the upper level being tables and chairs.
Garden Grill serves breakfast, lunch and dinner as part of “Chip ‘n Dale’s Harvest Feast”. This is a character meal, so while you are enjoying the delicious food, you will be visited by Chip, Dale, Mickey and Pluto.
If you are using the Disney Dining Plan, this meal will be a Table Service Credit. If you are not using the dining plan, be mindful that this along with most character meals can be a little pricey…but the experience is well worth it.
We enjoyed a late lunch when we visited Garden Grill and we were definitely not disappointed. The Lunch and Dinner menus are basically the same, so you’ll experience the same food either way.
Your meal is served “family-style” so it is all brought out on platters and you can request more at any time.
Our meal included:
“Living with the Land” Harvest-inspired Farmer’s Salad
Char-grilled Sliced Filet of Beef with Red Wine Demi-Glace
All-Natural Sliced Turkey Breast with Turkey Gravy
Italian Sausage with Sautéed Peppers and Onions
Sweet Potato Fries
Buttermilk Mashed Potatoes
Macaroni & Cheese
Garden Fresh Vegetables (Broccoli)
Bacon and Leek Stuffing
Short Cake topped with fresh Berries and Vanilla Bean Whipped Cream
I can promise you – you will not leave Garden Grill hungry. All the food was really delicious and truly tasted fresh. The presentation was beautiful and I love having all the variety without having to leave your seat. This is definitely a huge bonus with a character meal, as you don’t run the risk of missing a character while you go up to the buffet for more food. You are in your seat and they come to you. I genuinely enjoyed the character interactions during this meal. Chip and Dale were so much fun and would often high-five us or pat us on the head as they went around to greet other guests. Mickey and Pluto were fun too and we enjoyed seeing them dressed in their farm attire.
If you happen to be celebrating your birthday during a visit that includes a trip to Garden Grill…make sure you wear your birthday button! The piece of cake they bring you (in addition to all the other food) is awesome. It is chocolate cake with chocolate icing and Mickey sprinkles. I would be lying if I told you it was not the best piece of chocolate cake I’ve ever had. Seriously. You want a piece of this birthday cake!
Garden Grill is one of my favorites and is definitely on our list for our next trip! And once you eat…go walk around and discover Epcot. You’ll need to walk to burn off some of your dinner!
Have you been to Garden Grill? Do you love it too? Let me know in the comments!
